Mexpro Car Insurance Refunds

All refunds will be credited back to the card originally used to purchase the policy. Depending on your credit card company or bank, you should see the refund within one to three business days. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.

Daily policies (less than six months) are not eligible for a refund if the vehicle has entered Mexico.

Six-month and annual policies may be refunded if within the cancellation window.

Policies Not In Effect

If your policy is not yet in effect, meaning it has not begun, you can expect a full refund, minus a cancellation fee.

In Effect Policies

In effect policy refunds are based on the policy type and days in-effect.

Six Month Policies

Six-month policies are eligible for a refund if canceled in the first 20 days of being in effect.

Annual Policies

Annual policies can be partially refunded within the first 30 days of coverage only.

These policies are pro-rated using the cancellation window (set forth in your terms and conditions), not the entire term of the policy. Our 6-month and annual policies carry a high discount. Canceling them early removes this discount, meaning you pay a much higher daily rate for the days your policy was in effect.
