Mexpro was founded in 1999 by Jim and Andrea Labelle in their basement. As frequent travelers to Mexico by car, they saw the need for a more convenient way to purchase Mexico insurance before crossing the border. Leveraging their extensive experience in the insurance industry, they created Mexpro to provide a seamless online solution for tourists driving in Mexico. They built strong relationships with top Mexican insurers and insisted on features like English-language policies and bilingual adjusters, which were previously unavailable.
Over the years, we have expanded our product line to include Mexico motorcycle, RV / motorhome / travel trailer, boat and personal watercraft, homeowners, U.S. tourist auto (for those driving Mexican-plated vehicles in the U.S.), and travel insurance.
