Auto Liability-Only Insurance for Mexico

Third party auto liability insurance, called liability-only insurance for short, pays for injuries to other people and/or damage to their property as a result of an accident you cause in Mexico. It is required by law on all Mexican federal roadways.

Liability Limits

What are the liability auto insurance limits for driving in Mexico? Changes to Mexican law require much higher limits and they vary by state. Mexpro recommends no less than $300,000 in coverage and we suggest you consider the $500,000 limit.
